Duxbury Teen Seriously Injured in Crash
December 29th, 2015 –Duxbury Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the 400 block of Elm St. just prior to midnight on Saturday night (12/26). Arriving Officers found a heavily damaged BMW sedan that had struck a utility pole. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 17 year old Duxbury youth, was trapped inside the vehicle. Duxbury Fire Department personnel were able to extricate him from the wreckage and he was taken by helicopter to a Boston area hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Duxbury Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit. No charges have been filed at this time.
