Duxbury Police Receive AAA Bronze Award for Outstanding Achievements in Traffic Safety

On December 10, 2015, Duxbury Police Department received the Bronze Award in recognition of outstanding achievements in traffic safety. Nominated by Chief Clancy, Mrs. Selden Tearse received the AAA Community Traffic Safety Hero Award. Mrs. Tearse is the founder of the Ride Phat program that rewards kids for wearing their helmet while riding their bike. Get “caught” wearing a strapped-on helmet and get a coupon!
