Duxbury Officers Certified to Use NARCAN

Duxbury Officers received first responder overdose training by Duxbury Firefighter/Paramedic Harry Mathews. This training involved; understanding the signs of an opiate overdose, the importance of getting oxygen to the patient, and the administration of NARCAN. We now carry NARCAN with us on patrol in an effort to get life saving medication to a victim of an opiate overdose faster.
