Duxbury 'soul searching' leads to proposed fine for teen drinking

"DUXBURY – When Duxbury’s town meeting opens on Saturday, members will consider a little-used measure to combat teen drinking – non-criminal fines, rather than arrests and court appearances.Duxbury appears to be the first South Shore community to look at the alternative, which was proposed by Police Chief Matthew Clancy and endorsed by selectmen in February."
