The Criminal Investigations Bureau is over seen by Lieutenant Lewis Chubb and lead by Detective Sergeant Kristin Golden. The bureau consists of one detective, Detective Dennis McKenney.
The members of the Criminal Investigations Bureau have numerous responsibilities:
The Criminal Investigations Bureau is responsible for the follow up investigation of all crimes. Often these crimes include sexual assaults, aggravated assaults, burglaries, robberies, thefts, bias crimes, child abuse allegations, fire investigations, white collar crimes, missing persons, computer-related crimes, suspicious deaths and illegal narcotics activity.
Additionally, the Criminal Investigations Bureau Supervisor is responsible for the review, oversight and management of all criminal investigations. From this oversight, the Supervisor can provide analysis of criminal activity and coordinate with the Patrol Division to respond to specific problems and crime trends that are observed.
