Mission: To educate ourselves and the community at large about hoarding, and available resources. To educate each other in general about the agencies where we work and the regulations, codes, restrictions and limitations we face when dealing with a hoarding case. 

Goals:  

  1. Develop a resource book to help those in our community dealing with hoarding to refer clients to get help Massachusetts Local Hoarding Task Forces

  2. Develop a resource card for first responders identifying who should be called when hoarding is encountered 

  3. Invite speakers to our group to educate the group as to the parameters of agencies and to expand the group’s knowledge about hoarding 

  4. Become a resource for the community when it comes to hoarding cases, (i.e group brainstorming, assessment, etc.)

Meeting Times: Last Thursday of the month from 10am – 12pm at OCES.
