Chief Clancy Issues a Statement Regarding the Legalization of Marijuana

On August 8, 2016 Chief Matthew Clancy made a presentation to the Board of Selectman regarding the upcoming ballot question which seeks to legalize recreational marijuana in Massachusetts.

During the meeting the Board of Selectman voted to send a letter of opposition to the ballot question to the governor and other government leaders.

Also speaking in opposition to the ballot question was; State Representative Josh Cutler, State Representative Tom Calter, State Senator Patrick O'Connor, Retired Hanover Police Chief Paul Hayes, and Duxbury resident Anne Ward.
