The Duxbury Police Department was proud to host the FBI-LEEDA Executive Leadership course during the week of March 25, 2019. This is part of a series of professional development courses held nationwide for law enforcement leaders. The FBI LEEDA Mission is: "To advance the science and art of law enforcement leadership and promote the exchange of information to improve law enforcement management practices through training, education, and networking among police professionals across the United States and beyond."

Following the completion of the executive leadership course in March, Duxbury Police Lieutenant Michael Carbone, and Sergeants Daniel Brown and Thomas Brown received the coveted FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award. The Trilogy is awarded after successful completion of FBI-LEEDA's Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute courses.
