Summer 2022 Junior Police Academy Information: Sign up by 6/30/2022
Officers of the Duxbury Police Department and other special guests, will provide kids a wonderful opportunity to interact with its officers along with other local public safety members.Due to the tremendous success of last year’s program, the Duxbury Police Department is excited to be offering this free program again this year.
Kids will learn about the day to day operations of a police officer and get an in depth look at how a police department functions. Other activities the kids will participate in include: PT/physical training, health and wellness classes, Criminal Law, Investigations, Cyber Safety, CPR and first aid, Motor Vehicle Law, K9 unit, Mental Health and many other hands-on activities. Applicants must be a DMS student entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade. We look forward to providing participants a fun, safe and educational experience so don't wait and get your application in!
