School Investigation Conclusion

Duxbury – October 13, 2021

The Duxbury Police Department has concluded its investigation into allegations of a sexual assault(s) having been committed by Alden Elementary School staff members. Duxbury Police Detectives and Sexual Assault Investigators, Massachusetts Department of Children and Families Investigators, Forensic Interviewers from the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Child Advocacy Center, Medical Professionals, and several other external investigators were involved in evaluating allegations made by a Duxbury family that their child had been sexually assaulted. After an extensive investigation involving multiple agencies none of the investigators found any evidence to support the claims made by the family and the matter is now considered closed.
