Duxbury Woman Arrested in Hit and Run Case. Victim succumbs to injuries

Duxbury – June 11, 2019
On behalf of the Duxbury Police, District Attorney Cruz we provide the following case update. At approximately 5:15 this afternoon Duxbury and State Police arrested Christina Blackmore (39) of Franklin Street Duxbury in connection with the hit and run crash Sunday on Washington Street. Armed with an arrest warrant, police arrested Blackmore in the lobby of the Duxbury Police Station when she came to the station for another purpose.

Shortly before the arrest police were notified by the family of Mrs. Gordon that she had passed away late this afternoon at South Shore Hospital.

Blackmore is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, negligent operation, failure to stay in marked lanes and speeding.

She will be arraigned Wednesday morning at Plymouth District Court. More information on the investigation will be made available at the arraignment.
