Jake Emerson Appointed Duxbury Harbormaster

Please join us in congratulating Jake Emerson for his recent promotion to Harbormaster. Jake grew up in Duxbury and graduated from Duxbury High School in 1998. Two years later he joined the Harbormasters department as a seasonal assistant Harbormaster. While working during the summers as a seasonal assistant Harbormaster he attended college at the University of Richmond where he graduated in 2002. In 2003 Jake was hired as the Town’s first full time endangered species/operations officer. After two years in this position he was promoted to executive officer for the Harbormaster.
