Happy Holidays from the Duxbury Police Department

Stop by and Decorate Our Peace and Hope Tree
Peace and Hope Tree

When you drive by the Duxbury Police Department you may notice a tree decorated with blue lights and blue and white ribbons. This tree has been put up outside in front of the police station as a sign of peace and hope. We would like to thank Duxbury Boy Scout Troop 62 for donating the tree.

It has been a difficult year for our brothers, sisters, and K-9’s in blue, many lives have been forever changed by the tragic loss of such wonderful people. It also has been a tough year for people and their families struggling with health issues such as cancer, injuries, mental health conditions, addiction, and other illnesses.

In the spirit of the holidays we invite you to stop by the police station and decorate the tree with your own message of peace and hope. You can come inside and get a piece of blue or white ribbon and write a name or message on it and tie it to the tree. Calling all kids out there, show us your imagination and make an ornament.
