Duxbury Police are investigating an incident involving a bicycle and a motor vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15AM on Sunday, January 22nd, on East St., near Summer St. The 14 year old bicyclist said that he was traveling West on East St. near the State DPW garage. He said that he was struck, in the elbow, by the side mirror of a passing vehicle. The bicyclist said that the force of the impact caused him to crash his bicycle. He described the vehicle as a dark colored, late model, Chevy Suburban being operated by a white female. The operator of the motor vehicle did not stop and the vehicle was last seen was last seen turning North on Summer St. The bicyclist received minor injuries to his elbow.
