50th Anniversary of Decommissioning of USS Duxbury Bay

Event Information: On Monday Sept. 19th the 50th Anniversary of the decommissioning of the USS Duxbury Bay has been changed to take place indoors due to the forecast of rain. Approximately 10:30-10:45 am Veterans will arrive at High School, escorted by motorcycle Officers. The ceremony starts at 11:00 am in the Duxbury High School Gym. Veterans then leave the High School and go to the Powder Point Bridge for the wreath being placed into the Duxbury Bay, escorted by motorcycle Officers. Veterans leave the Powder Point Bridge and go to the Duxbury Senior Center, escorted by motorcycle Officers.
